Event Summary | This course is aimed at teachers who are new to the role of science subject leadership in infant, junior or primary schools. It is aimed to provide new subject leaders with guidance on how to effectively lead and develop quality provision for the subject. | ||||||
Event description | Taking on subject leadership for science for the first time can be daunting, particularly if your school is expecting a visit from OFSTED. This course aims to support you in your understanding of what is considered to be effective provision for science within the primary phase and how to communicate this effectively through statements of intent and implementation linked to the school's policy documentation. It will highlight effective ways to monitor the quality of provision in order to gather evidence of the impact of learning and teaching within the school. | ||||||
